Reframing your thinking about difficult conversations

We all try to avoid difficult conversations but if we think about them as a chance to find a solution to a problem they become less daunting. The Chinese character for crisis might help us with the way we think. It has two components – danger and ‘seize the moment’. So although a difficult conversation can be felt as a risk it really offers an opportunity to change things for the better.
